Having lived in Brampton’s Wards 9 & 10 for over 35 years with his wife and their three sons, John Sprovieri knows the needs and expectations of his community and its residents.

For 22 faithful years John has diligently served every neighbourhood in Wards 9 and 10 in the City of Brampton and the Region of Peel with passion, dedication, fairness and integrity, resolving local issues and fulfilling resident’s expectations.  

John is a spirited advocate who fights for the rights of his constituents with candid and tireless effort and has never had to declare a conflict of interest in all his years in office.

John represents your issues and concerns with utmost integrity, openness, and determination, getting the job done effectively. What matters to you, matters to John. He is a reputable man of his word.

From his early teens, John has been committed to helping his community. Instilled in him is a strong sense of duty to ‘give something back’ to a community that has been there for him.

John, together with City Council, has successfully met the challenge of utilizing municipal tax payers’ dollars responsibly to provide locally desired amenities and services, as well as attracting new residents and businesses to the area, keeping our local economy strong. If re-elected, John will continue to be diligent, responsible and accountable with taxpayers‘ dollars. As the current Regional Councillor, John as been an integral part of addressing and improving Wards 9 & 10’s many safety issues, growth and development of community resources, environmental concerns, as well as cultural diversity.

His dedication is reflected in his involvement as a Member and past Treasurer of the Nights of Columbus at St. Patrick Church and volunteering with the Friends of Clairville to preserve and enhance the natural heritage of east Brampton.

John was also an outspoken member on the Taxi Committee, which resolved the long-standing dispute of the Taxi industry in Brampton ,as well as serving as a Board member of the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) and the Greater Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA) Noise and Environment Committee.
